Help us pay vet bills    (2009-02-09)

As I mentioned a while back, and as you may have noticed from the link to one side, I recently entered an ebook contest. The prize money, if won, will go to paying off vet bills for one of our cats, Athos, who ate a string when he was a younger kitten. This happened months ago, but we are still paying off the bill, which was around $2000 all told.

They cut him open to make sure his intestines hadn't ruptured after the string was shat out:

So we are asking for your help, but fear not! It will not cost you anything. In fact, it might even win you $100. All you have to do is go to the link on the side (the "world weird web" image), register an account, and vote for my ebook. By doing so, you are automatically entered into a drawing for one of 3 $100 prizes (though you'll have to use your real name and address for that).
