New Chapter and vote incentives    (2008-11-10)

"Boy Howdy, y'all."

So we finally finished up the prologue, and now we've started on chapter one! Hot damn, and so forth. The more astute amongst you may have noticed the three little voting buttons that are now showing up under the comic pages. These, as I'm sure you know, are buttons which allow you to vote for our comic (hence the name "voting buttons") at several different webcomic listing/ranking type websites.

Since we know that many webcomic readers are not into selfless acts of epic heroism that take more than 5 seconds to complete (and voting can take up to 8 seconds, valuable readers!) we are also going to add "voting incentives" on two of these sites (the third does not support them).

What this means is that for the meagre effort required to click a button, click on a few other buttons, and then stop clicking on buttons, you can see an exclusive preview of next week's comic page! And don't worry guys (and gals), I will endeavor to try and pick the most eye-candy-ful area of each page when I scan in the preview. Of course, not every page has a half-nude male/female on it, but worry not! Whenever possible, I will deliver. Just don't tell Jane.

As an aside, for those of you who are doing NaNoWriMo this month, I have finally given in to the prompting of my peers and have signed up to do it. I'm just a bit shy of 20k. If any of you readers are doing it, hop on over and buddy up with me. It may even be fun, or something.
